The Michael Vivirito diary has run it's course (see link at right). If you never read his diary, it was fairly compelling. A reminder of what some Americans have done in the name of their country. It's one thing to philosophize about war, and casualties, and politics. It's another to have an insight into a real person's story. I'm glad he's back safe.
This is probably too late, but there is a benefit for wounded soldiers happening tomorrow (11/5) downtown Chicago. More info here. Pat Quinn operates this site. It was all kinds of information on benefits for Reservists and National Guard members.
