For God's Sake

I think Ray Nagin, Mayor of New Orleans can call it a career right about now.

"Surely God is mad at America. He sent us hurricane after hurricane after hurricane, and it's destroyed and put stress on this country," Nagin, who is black, said as he and other city leaders marked Martin Luther King Day."

He goes on to describe an imaginary conversation with MLK, in which MLK suggests that they don't need to "pay attention any more as much about other folks and racists." He also wants a chocolate New Orleans....rest of this career-killing article here.

Thankfully, my Lord has no position on the flavor of New Orleans.

It's an easy way to duck responsiblity. Put it on God's shoulders....
