For God's Sake

The wonderful state of Kansas has voted to put "Intelligent Design" into the curriculum. In the process of doing so, they changed the very definition of science:

In addition, the board rewrote the definition of science, so that it is no longer limited to the search for natural explanations of phenomena.

This is of course, ridiculous. It is nothing but an attempt from the religious right to insert their faith into science.

The bottom line is that this is an argument of scientific theory supported by factual evidence versus faith based arguments not supported by facts. ID exists in this world for the sole purpose of legitimizing pre-existing religious beliefs.
