Found in Translation

BigBrother had a problem over the weekend. He kept pointing to his bottom and saying "I have a chimp in my hole, and it won't come out."

"What? What did you say?"

"I have a chimp in my hole and it won't come out."

"What did you say?"

Frustrated with Daddy, he yelled across the house.

"MOMMY. I have a chimp in my hole and it won't come out."

Turns out he had a crimp in his pockets, and he couldn't get it out.

Chimp has multiple definitions. It can mean cutting, pinching, or getting in the way. You just have to learn 3-year-old-speak!

just wait until you need this one to translate:

http://www.urbandictionary.com/

and you won't believe the number of translations for "I don't know" and "sure" and "whatever" . . . plus there is the whole meta message thing with girls, at least boys/men are more literal
