Days of Yore

This is a pic of Ed, myself and someone else. Ed is in the middle, I'm on the right. Neither one of us has a clue who the guy on the left is. Ed's theory is that it's Dan Castalanetta. I think it's Borat's son.

Check out Ed's blog, it's the link called Pazuzu. His blog is called ajusted. So why Pazuzu? Pazuzu is the ancient Babylonian God of Sex Drugs and Rock and Roll. And Ed is the closest to Keith Richards that I'll ever have the pleasure of knowing.






This next picture is from 1985, right when I got my driver's license. Of all the embarrassing things in the picture (the short green shorts, the hat, the bad shirt) - the worst thing is that I don't think I'm wearing a white t-shirt. I think that's just a tan line.

I'm sitting on my Dad's Hot Rod, er Honda Accord.
The car reminded me of a moment I had in High School. I had dropped off my friends after a night of hard partying (or going to see a movie and aimlessly driving around, you decide which is more likely).

As I pulled into the right turn lane, I saw a beautiful black Camaro - so we were both driving hot cars. In the driver's seat, a blonde. I slowed down to catch her glance. Who knows, maybe she'd wink at me and we'd pull into the Hardee's parking lot and exchange numbers. I catch her glance. She's looking at me, but out of the corner of my eye, I see the car ahead of me go.

I shrug and press on the gas - sadly our love was not meant to be....except the car ahead of me hadn't actually gone. It had just taken the brake off. I slammed into it as I was shrugging. Luckily - no damage was done.

Blondie got a good chuckle. All I got was this post.
